General Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
The Kosher Holidays website provides information and booking services for kosher hotels, holidays, Shabbat and Jewish holiday stays, and tourism services in Israel and worldwide.
Customers may use the website to explore accommodation options, request quotations and arrange reservations through Kosher Holidays.
Services, prices, availability and booking conditions may vary depending on the hotel, destination, travel dates and type of service.
2. Role of Kosher Holidays
For accommodation bookings where it is identified as an intermediary, Kosher Holidays acts as an intermediary between customers and independent hotels or tourism service providers.
Kosher Holidays handles customer enquiries, quotations, reservations and payment collection in accordance with the conditions communicated to customers.
Customers pay Kosher Holidays directly. Kosher Holidays issues the appropriate payment document and subsequently transfers the agreed amount to the relevant service provider.
Collecting payment does not, in itself, mean that Kosher Holidays manages or operates the hotel.
Where Kosher Holidays markets or organizes a travel package, its obligations and responsibilities are determined by its actual contractual role and the applicable law.
3. Responsibility of Hotels and Service Providers
Hotels and independent service providers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their establishments and for delivering the services they have agreed to provide.
Their operational responsibilities include room conditions, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, hotel facilities, meals, guest services and the availability of booked services.
Kosher Holidays does not manage or operate the hotels and is not responsible for acts, omissions or deficiencies of independent service providers, except where responsibility arises under applicable law or its own contractual obligations.
If a problem occurs during a stay, customers are encouraged to report it promptly to the hotel staff so that it can be addressed without delay, while also informing Kosher Holidays.
Kosher Holidays will assist in communicating and reviewing complaints with the relevant service provider, in accordance with the circumstances and its obligations.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory legal rights of the customer.
4. Prices and Availability
Prices displayed on the website, where available, are provided for general information and may change depending on the season, availability, number of guests, room category and supplier conditions.
The applicable price will be communicated in the individual quotation and booking confirmation.
The final price, included services, payment arrangements and cancellation conditions will be provided before the booking is confirmed.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, accommodation prices should not be assumed to include flights, transfers, travel insurance, excursions, admission fees, local taxes or additional services.
5. Enquiries and Booking Confirmation
Submitting an enquiry through the website, email, telephone or WhatsApp does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
A booking is confirmed only after the customer receives explicit confirmation from Kosher Holidays, subject to the agreed booking conditions and payment requirements.
Customers are responsible for checking the details of their reservations, including guest names, dates, room categories, number of participants and included services.
Any errors or discrepancies should be reported promptly to Kosher Holidays.
6. Payments
Payments for reservations arranged through Kosher Holidays are collected according to the conditions stated in the quotation and booking confirmation.
Depending on the reservation, a deposit, partial payment or full payment may be required.
Payment deadlines, accepted payment methods and amounts due will be communicated in advance.
Failure to make payment by the agreed deadline may affect the validity of the reservation, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
7. Kosher Services and Shabbat Facilities
Kosher Holidays specializes in accommodation and tourism services for guests who observe kosher dietary laws and Jewish traditions.
Kosher certification, supervising authorities, meal arrangements and Shabbat facilities may vary between hotels and travel periods.
Information concerning kosher services is provided on the basis of current details supplied by the hotel or service provider.
Customers with specific requirements concerning kosher standards, meals, Shabbat observance, accessibility or other needs should communicate them before confirming a reservation.
Special requests are subject to explicit confirmation and are not guaranteed unless confirmed.
8. Changes to Services
Hotels and tourism providers may make changes to operating hours, facilities, menus, services and hospitality programs.
Flight schedules, transfers and other activities may also be subject to change.
Where a material change affects a confirmed reservation, Kosher Holidays will seek to inform the customer and address the matter in accordance with its obligations and applicable law.
9. Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, visas and any other travel documents required for their destination, nationality and itinerary.
Entry and transit requirements may differ between countries and may change.
Customers are advised to check the applicable requirements before confirming their reservation and before departure.
10. Cancellations and Booking Changes
Cancellation and amendment conditions may vary depending on the hotel, service, travel dates and specific booking arrangements.
The applicable conditions, including cancellation deadlines, charges and refund eligibility, will be communicated before booking confirmation.
Cancellation or amendment requests must be submitted directly to Kosher Holidays using the contact details provided on the website.
Kosher Holidays will handle such requests according to the conditions agreed with the customer and applicable law.
All mandatory statutory cancellation and refund rights remain fully applicable.
11. Complaints and Assistance
If a problem arises with accommodation services, customers are encouraged to contact hotel staff promptly to allow immediate assistance.
Customers may also contact Kosher Holidays, which will assist in communicating and reviewing the complaint with the relevant provider.
Responsibility for the actual delivery of services will be determined according to each party's role, contractual obligations and applicable law.
12. Website Information
Kosher Holidays makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate, clear and up-to-date information about hotels and tourism services.
However, some information is supplied by independent providers and may change.
In the event of a discrepancy between general website information and the individual quotation or booking confirmation, the specific contractual arrangements and applicable law must be considered.
13. Customer Rights
Nothing in these General Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any mandatory rights available to customers under applicable law.
Where these terms conflict with mandatory legal provisions, those provisions shall prevail.
